This has been fixed. Too much was cut that some parts of the conversation didn't make any sense. - Script fixes for some Serana wait stuff, like whenever she's called to wait when the Dawnguard questline tells her not to. This is only available after the Dawnguard questline, should the romance route have been pursued with the vampire princess. The music also may have been a bit melodramatic, and maybe a bit unfitting of the game's natural music environment. Sometimes Serana will become fixated in a particular direction and continue to face that direction despite the player turning. The horse will also follow/teleport to her when it has gotten too far, so no need to worry about horse catch-ups. - Patch functionality was fixed- it should now do its thing properly. - Fixed bug where Nightshade would just randomly teleport to Phoenix. :D. - New RP conversations with Serana, about: -Serana asking about the player's backstory, -Comments on the player's race (she gives different insights on all the different races), - Solstheim location awareness (both for the main region and the various settlements within it. This was implemented to some extent in vanilla (hence how Serana had different dialogue animations throughout the DG questline) but never fully realized. With SDA, a player roleplaying as a chaotic neutral/chaotic good character is kept in mind. Some of these are scripted, as to add to and grow Serana's character development in relation to to other characters, but some of them are radiant (which means the conversations are rather inconsequential and can randomly occur). Upon initiating a short conversation with her (available during the Moth Priest hunt at the earliest) Serana will give you a spell that allows you to summon her from just about anywhere! In a future update, this will be re-implemented. Not to mention the mod should load faster on older hardware! - Disabled one of the post-Harkon fight dialogues, as these have now been largely superceded by the addition of the Serana romance. Serana will also be able to travel beside you, should you ask her to do that. The commentary quest should already be restarted and you can check if it's up and running correctly with "sqv SDA_SolstheimCommentary". - Banter toggle with custom-voiced followers. This should help reduce Laura Bailey and Kerstyn voice overlap, at least for the radiant stuff. - Papyrus Optimizations, further reducing (harmless) log errors and spam. For the Dark Brotherhood, Serana will also comment if you chose to destroy them. - Sofia Banter now has a countdown timer. - Implementation of NPC Interaction Framework. - Commentary tweaks for Raven Rock mine quest, so more players would get to hear Serana's commentary. so that it can be asked right away without having to ask "Can I talk to you for a bit?" - Removed the added music for the Trust conversation for now, as it was causing crashes for some Xbox users. If she and the player are not in a private location, the player can lead her to one (where the smoochey-smooch will happen). - College of Winterhold general location awareness and commentary. Previously they were able to, and Serana turned hostile as a result. If you've already experienced this bug and are on PC, type "Set SDA_AlternateVoice to 1", or reload an earlier save (before Prophet). I've just released the latest 3.0 update for my Serana Dialogue Add-On mod, which adds a bunch of cool stuff! More extensive quests (like those that have quest rewards- The Date at the Banned mare for example) still are logged. A bunch of fixes and content additions. One of the biggest requests for my mod was to fully replace Laura Bailey's performance- as having two VAs voice the same character can be jarring. This will be accessible through the Serana Menu. (I'm adding this for more immersion, since Serana is a vampire and would need to feed every now and then, but I'm not allowing her to feed on the player. - Two new songs, one is a Serana-rendition of the Age of Aggression/Oppression vanilla song, and another is an original composed by Kerstyn! So now you can hear all of her fun lines. - The FG/OStim check is now made on each player game load, making SDA now able to detect if either of these animation frameworks were installed on an existing SDA save. Includes both some radiant and story-driven conversations. - Fixed a possible issue for some users with the Companions commentary. - Added a follow-up line to College of Winterhold commentary. - Reduced frequency of Serana's humming a bit (from 5% to 3%), - Reduced frequency of Serana lovey-dovey radiant greets (-20% less frequent), - Reduced frequency of prequel meme lines a bit more (-25% less frequent), - Sofia should no longer start her first conversation with Serana while she is still sleeping at the Whiterun Stables. - Daedric Quest commentary for "A Night to Remember", everyone's favorite The Hangover-style quest in Skyrim. Same with the trading dialogue, there are now more responses when she is being asked to wait somewhere. Just try to talk to her somewhat often, especially during the start of some main Dawnguard quests. - Some backend changes to ensure some of the Main Quest dialogue fired off correctly, and at the right times.
